Permian has been announced as the Sportz pre-season favorite to represent District 2-6A in the 2016 season.  Mojo opens its non-district slate on August 26 with a road game against Austin Vandegrift.

Gilbert 'Gil' Bartosh led Permian to its second State Champion title in 1972. We are saddened to report his passing on June 4 in Liberty Hill, Texas.

The annual Black-White Spring Game was held on May 26 at Ratliff Stadium with Permian's White team defeating the Black team 28-21 to close out the off-season workouts.

The biennial event that affects the next two years... the release of the UIL district realignments. The Panthers will now reside in District 2-6A, which will consist of seven teams.

The District 3-6A All-District selections have been released for the 2015 season. Permian placed eight on the First Team Offense and five on the First Team Defense. Coach Blake Feldt was also named as co-Coach of the Year.

LIBERTY HILL — Legendary player and former Permian head coach Gil Bartosh passed on June 4 at the age of 86. Bartosh was born in 1930 and mentored the Panthers in the 1971-72 seasons, which included a state championship.
